heula 192 Posted March 28, 2018 Posted March 28, 2018 Since March 14 Emby does not communicate or work well with Trakt anymore for me. Till march 13 no problem and I did not change a thing, only updated the Emby Server when thyere was an update available. When I play a random episode I don't see what is playing when I go to my Trakt site and it doesn't end up at the watched items when it is ended. Also the task "Sync libray to trakt.tv" does not work and fails. I generated a new pin but it didn't help. Is there a problem here? Emby Server version 3.3.1.10 beta Thanks. server-63657832772.txt

Luke 42077 Posted December 24, 2018 Posted December 24, 2018 What I would suggest doing is finding out from @@solabc16 how to edit that file, then shutdown Emby Server and delete the file altogether. Then start the server back up and reconfigure Trakt. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks ! 1
heula 192 Posted December 27, 2018 Author Posted December 27, 2018 I got this solved. I could delete the trakt.xml file by logging into WinSCP as admin. Starting the emby sever again and go to the trakt plugin settings to get a new pin and the sync went fine again. Thanks.
F1nchy 29 Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 (edited) Hi guysI'm having this problem with the Trakt plug in on my QNap NAS, it has the following in the Trakt.xml; <AccessTokenExpiration>0001-01-01T00:00:00Z</AccessTokenExpiration> I've tried stopping Emby, deleting the Trakt.xml (located in /share/CACHEDEV1/.qpkg/EmbyServer/programdata/plugins/configurations) and restarting but that doesn't resolve it, it just recreates it with the same timestamp. I've changing the timestamp to this; <AccessTokenExpiration>2050-01-01T00:00:00Z</AccessTokenExpiration> so it's a future date but and restarting but it still doesn't work. When I try to run the scheduled task in the Emby Server dashboard it just says failed. Any ideas? Thanks Edited January 7, 2019 by F1nchy

F1nchy 29 Posted January 17, 2019 Posted January 17, 2019 Just to update, I think this is working now. I've updated to Emby Server 4, uninstalled the Trakt plugin and then reinstalled it and it seems to be ok. I'll keep an eye on it and report back if there are any issues. Thanks!

I tried to set different a different task time but that does not help either. When I do it mannualy it goes fine most of the time. Thanks.

I had to uninstall and reinstall Emby Server to get HDHomerun working properly with it, and since doing the reinstall and restore Trakt isnt working properly. I reauthorised Trakt to allow Emby access but only Import Playstates task works, the Sync Library to Trakt task keeps failing. Any ideas why? I've checked the Trakt.xml file in the installation folder and cant see a date for token expiry so I don't think it's that this time. I've attached the log.Thanks Log.txt

Hi Luke I've reauthorised it but it seems to not be keeping the auth code. I save the code, run the task and it looks like it's updated, but it's not updated anything to Trakt and when I look back at the plugin settings its lost the auth codes. I've updated the log file, any ideas why it's still not working? Log.txt
