[Solved] "watched" and "playcount" lost after Windows to Synology migration

Hi,

 

i noticed that when using local .nfo files to store libraries metadata, some usefull entries are overwritten when migrating from Emby Windows to Emby Synology.

 

Here is an exemple :

 

 

In the capture, we can see that the poster path is updated according to the new filesystem, but some the viewed statistics to.

Should it be safier to keep <playcount> <watched> and <lastplayed> value as is ? (i guess <isuserfavorites> is concerned to)

It's probably because the user data for that library item is different now, not so much due to anything about nfo saving.

I'm not sure to understand.

 

I have a backup of all my .nfo with the watched status, how can i migrate them to Emby Synology ? If i create a library on my previous movie path for example, the .nfo will be updated and the watched status lost.

We don't read watch status from nfo, so it's one way only. You'd want to the back up plugin to help backup user data.
