fneves 6 Posted March 27, 2018 Posted March 27, 2018 (edited) Hello! Is it possible to enhance the multiple versions when the filename is different than the folder? I already have my movies structured and emby detects them just fine, but I don't want to rename the files because it helps finding subtitles. Eg: Folder: The Big Sick (2017)Files: The.Big.Sick.2017.BluRay.1080p.DTS.x264-CHD.mkv - Original.strm The.Big.Sick.2017.BluRay.1080p.DTS.x264-CHD.mkv - 1080p.strm The.Big.Sick.2017.BluRay.1080p.DTS.x264-CHD.mkv - 720p.strm The.Big.Sick.2017.BluRay.1080p.DTS.x264-CHD.mkv - 420p.strm In this case Emby detects 4 movies, and it's working as intended, but renaming all my movie files would make finding subtitles rather diffcult. Perhaps when there's X files inside a movie folder all with the same name except the "- name", it could merge them together too? Thanks! Edited March 27, 2018 by fneves 2
kikinjo 281 Posted March 27, 2018 Posted March 27, 2018 Great suggestion! Also have similar issues where rename breaks and hardens subtitle management and is time consuming depending on library size. +1 1
fneves 6 Posted June 21, 2018 Author Posted June 21, 2018 Any chance this gets implemented in a near future?
Luke 42079 Posted June 23, 2018 Posted June 23, 2018 I can't offer an ETA but it's a good idea for the future. Thanks.
