Hey @radeonFor some reason ytrailers has stopped downloading trailers but theme videos and theme music are still working just fine. I peeked at the logs and saw this:

VideoLibrary.Exceptions.UnavailableStreamException: VideoLibrary.Exceptions.UnavailableStreamException: Error caused by Youtube.(Sign in to confirm you’re not a bot))

Is the plugin failing because of a captcha?  I can post the full log if needed. I also repaid when the plugin was rebuilt and have a license code.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Radeon

Just wanted to check how things were coming along with this plugin.  Right now I have it disabled as it was downloading the large mka files.  I know there was talk of converting those files in the background so that when we do download a theme song it is in smaller mp3 format.  Just wanted to check if that is live or will system still download the ska files

Large mka's have been removed but they are still acceptable file types for themes so still included in any downloads if they're under the upper file limit

I may have responded to early before performing a restart. The progress bar is now running slow so I assume its working now. Thanks!

Potentially, I'm thinking more about a server side processor that does it instead

Just like @geowill76mentioned, it would be great to focus on mp3 for songs in order to reduce file sizes. I am also fine with a client-side conversion, if this is easier to manage.

Hey @radeonsorry to report back but I have run the scan numerous times and although it seemed like it was working, it is still not downloading trailers fro the newest movies in the collection.embyserver.txt

@Scott310This thread has nothing to do with downloading trailers.

Its about Movie Theme songs.

I can see trailers are being downloaded and placed fine? Some are failing due to location restrictions etc but otherwise seems ok to me?

Hmm they aren't showing up in the folders. Could it think the trailer is already there when it isn't? Maybe if I remove and replace the movies it will try again?

Ok, Its back working again. I'm squared away. Thanks for the support.

Ok cool, I'll push another release with a 20mb upload limit, give it a few days to roll out, flush out all the bigger themes, reindex and we should be good to go.

@radeonI just did a test with version 1.8.4.0. It still downloads MKA files with 50MB size. In this case a theme song with 53min duration. I think it absolutely makes sense to set a strict file limit, e.g. 20mb or even smaller. There is no need for a theme song with 53min duration. Usually you only view a movie detail page in emby only for a few seconds up to a minute before you start playing a movie or leave the page.

Yup, it's entirely possible. If there are people out there running the old version of the plugin then it'll still upload them.

I can't remember the upper limits I set for the new version of the plugin but it was somewhere around that

@radeonSounds good. Do you think you can implement it (if needed as a toogle option or filter setting)?

Hi, I'm running into issues with the Movie Theme Videos plugin

  • Some MediaFire links are returning 404 errors, causing repeated download failures.
  • ffmpeg commands generated by the plugin seem to have a malformed parameter ( instead of -), leading to errors and missing .quicktime files.
  • The plugin then tries to move non-existent files, resulting in FileNotFoundException.

Here's the log:  https://pastebin.com/NguamLLM

Let me know if you need more details or testing! Thanks!

404 will just be the host having a bad day. I've spoken to them about it many times and they tell me they're  "looking into it". Short of moving hosts there isn't much that can be done.

QuickTime files is a funny one.

There isn't any malformed in my passed params so not sure what's going on there. Try turning off audio normalisation and see if it makes a difference

Thanks, it is somewhat working now.  I wasn't getting any successful downloads.  I am now but there are still ffmpeg errors sprinkled in occasionally...  Whats odd is I had this installed and working, deleted all of the downloaded theme videos, uninstalled the plugin and then later decided I wanted to set it up again and now it's doing this.  I removed it again and reinstalled, same thing.
