kanpass 0 Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Installed MB3 server on windows home server 2011, it only starts if I log into server. When I remotely start whs2011, MB3 does not start even though there is a link in startup folder. As soon as I log into whs2011 , MB3 server begins.... I also have MyMovies addin installed which starts without the need to log in. Have I not configured setup properly?... I use both MB3mobile and theater.

If you want it to run as a service instead, then un-check auto start in the config and configure the service from the Windows Services configuration. You will have to give it a proper user to run under as well. See: Unable to access media when running server as a service
Happy2Play 9780 Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 The startup folder does not run until you log in. You want it to run as a service for it to start with no one logged in. Remove from startup folder and ensure run at startup is not checked in Dashboard-Advanced. Then go to services (run-services.msc) and start the MediaBrowser Service.
