Max555 0 Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Hi, I'm new to Emby. I think Emby is really cool, and I've purchased a monthly pass. Unfortunately, when I play audio from my iPhone 17 with the Emby app on Live albums or on an album like Dark Side of the Moon, I hear a little pop between tracks. It's not 100% smooth. Haven't you implemented gapless audio yet? Sorry, but this must be the last audio app in the world that doesn't have gapless playback yet, and I'm really sorry. Thanks.

Thanks.
rmongiovi 0 Posted February 18 Posted February 18 Count me in. I've got my entire CD collection ripped and I play it with the emby app on my roku ultra. The gaps between tracks when I play an album are quite unfortunate, especially when the actual album has consecutive tracks that are supposed to lead seamlessly from one track to the next. Having a gap in the intro to a song isn't good. This doesn't seem like it ought to be that tough a problem. I for one would appreciate an explanation of the difficulties. Putting all my albums in emby was a breeze. It automatically created playlists from my m3u files and I added them to collections to make them easy to find. The album cover art makes it look remarkably like the CDs on my shelves. All that's lacking is the ability to play them back the same way they sound when I play the CD. Unfortunately, that's a really important deficiency.

rmongiovi 0 Posted February 18 Posted February 18 Is there a better alternative for emby to get the music to my audio system?

rmongiovi 0 Posted February 19 Posted February 19 No, nothing in my stereo system runs android. What device are you suggesting?

rmongiovi 0 Posted February 19 Posted February 19 Thanks! I've tried DLNA directly to my Panasonic TV and to my OPPO blu-ray player and they both have gaps. It's really helpful to know a DLNA device that works.
