[RESOLVED-NON-ISSUE] Blocked parental tags still show on browser home screen

See post #3 for my misperception of the issue...........

My setup basics:

Linux - Ubuntu Server 16.04

Emby Ver. 3.3.1.0

Issue:

So far, I only use this parental block tags feature for Live TV stuff....

If I tag an item, in this case a channel, as "DONTSHOWTHISCHANNEL" and add that to parental blocks, the channel will not show in the guide. Perfect!!!

However, on the home screen when browsing via a web browser, that channel will show up under "On Now".

Of course you can then view the content. Or click the "On Now" and it shows all channels at this point.

Anything I am missing to remove it from the home screen and further prevent a back door to all channels?

Its a minor issue since I am not really parental blocking anything yet, but I will need this soon. The young one isn't old enough at this time to actually have his own login. :) This is just a test to make sure it will work.

I do use it to hide OTA channels that just do paid programming, channels not in my native language and channels that I simply will never watch. Thankfully the guide respects this so that is awesome. I don't care about the home screen for me.. but it will at some point.

Thanks!

OK, Luke.

You were close... but I am an idiot.

NEW channels popped up.. sub-channels I guess you would say.

A quick look shows them as XYZ channel, but in the guide they are XYZ.3, XYZ.5, etc.

So they weren't actually "blocked" via tags. The other XYZ.# were, just not these. They weren't there since it appears I now have about 8 or so new channels. I was near the antenna the other day and I guess I accidentally "improved" reception with a bump! haha Crap. Its a fickle beast.

Ugghhhh... sorry.

ALL GOOD.

Marking resolved in a minute.
