Odd issue with Metadata Manager

Been using Emby for a long time now and never ran into this problem before. Amazon show, Patriot. It misidentifies on initial library scan so I went into Metadata Manager and fixed the tvdb ID to 323267 and the IMDB id to tt4687882 (the moviedb ID identifies correctly as 64396). I can click the external link next to each one and get to the proper series now. However, if I then go to Edit Images, the TVDB is still giving the images for series 300185 instead and when Auto Organize goes to move episodes, it uses the episode titles from 300185 instead of 323267 as well. I've tried restarting emby, rescanning after changing metadata, but no matter what it's still hitting TVDB with the auto-identified ID, not the one I changed the series to. Somewhere in the database that the invalid ID is still being stored?

 

I pulled out the relevant log chunk (and replaced my server name with SERVERNAME) and you can see that it keeps requesting www.thetvdb.com%2Fbanners%2Fposters%2F300185-1.jpg which is that wrong ID

You said you set the movie db id and the IMDb I'd. But you didn't see the tvdb id?

No, I said I "fixed the tvdb ID to 323267 and the IMDB id to tt4687882"

I didn't have to touch the moviedb id because it was the only one that auto-identified correctly.

If you named it Patriot (2017) I bet you would not have a issue.  Anytime shows with same name you need to add year or you may run into issues like this.

Yes, the IDs aren't reverting or anything and if I click the external link buttons (to the right of the IDs) they all take me to the correct pages.

So, just for fun I tried changing the series Title field to Patriot (2017) as well. No change, so I ran a rescan and even restarted the server. No change. As you can see, when it goes to fetch images, the TVDB images are from the wrong series still.

For images? Yes, FanArt and MovieDB are showing the correct images for that show. The images are a minor concern (since I can pick others), but a symptom of a bigger problem because when AutoOrganize goes to move the episodes, it's using the incorrect TVDB ID to get episode titles, descriptions, etc. It won't even move episodes 8 through 10 because the other series only had 7 episodes.

So, even though there hasn't been an update for the server, I decided to go into the Metadata manager today from work and see what images showed. It's all fixed now?!

 

So, was something cached at the server side that eventually went away (even though I restarted the server multiple times), do you cache anything in files instead of just memory? Or, is it possible because I'm accessing from a different computer that something could have been cached in Chrome itself that was being sent to the server? Or does the server do all the work for grabbing images and the client shouldn't matter?

 

All I know is that it now is showing the correct tvdb images and the autoorganize of the episodes is now looking up the correct titles (i.e. ep 1 was sorting as Desa Mapu and now instead says Milwaukee America). Below is a fresh screenshot from work of that same screen above in my previous post where before it was showing the wrong image for TVDB only. Bizarre.
