Richard Branches 330 Posted March 20, 2018 Posted March 20, 2018 Everytime I open the dashboard, the vertical scrollbar is gone, I have to press F5 in order to make it appear, it is annoying. I'm using the latest google chrome:
Happy2Play 9780 Posted March 20, 2018 Posted March 20, 2018 Can not reproduce in Chrome 65 on Windows.
Richard Branches 330 Posted March 20, 2018 Author Posted March 20, 2018 it shows for me. is this a mobile device? Windows 10 fall creators update...
Richard Branches 330 Posted March 20, 2018 Author Posted March 20, 2018 Do you have a touch pad connected? I'm using a laptop and the touchpad is what I use to move the pointer so...
Erik 124 Posted March 20, 2018 Posted March 20, 2018 (edited) https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/53154-32400-dashboard-scrolling/?fromsearch=1 My 2 servers both do this with chrome, also any computer I've tested accessing emby with chrome. A refresh brings it back temporarily. Windows 10/Server 2012 Edited March 20, 2018 by Erik
Happy2Play 9780 Posted March 20, 2018 Posted March 20, 2018 I guess there has to be other variables then as I can not reproduce on Windows 7 and 10, and server 2008.
Richard Branches 330 Posted March 20, 2018 Author Posted March 20, 2018 I tested Microsoft Edge and it works, the problem is with google chrome.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted March 20, 2018 Posted March 20, 2018 (edited) It is more then just Chrome or the server, as it works fine on multiple versions of Windows 10 and on multple machines. Edited March 20, 2018 by Happy2Play
Richard Branches 330 Posted September 30, 2018 Author Posted September 30, 2018 This is broken again with the latest server and the latest Google Chrome, I have to press F5 to refresh the page for the scroll bar to appear.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted October 2, 2018 Posted October 2, 2018 Sorry haven't seen this issue. What version of Chrome?
Q-Droid 989 Posted October 2, 2018 Posted October 2, 2018 (edited) FWIW I have the same issue in Opera 55 and 56 (and Chrome 69) with Emby 3.5.2 and a refresh usually brings the scrollbar back. Update: I noticed that for me it happens only as the Admin user. If I use another account with admin access it doesn't happen. Edited October 2, 2018 by Q-Droid
Richard Branches 330 Posted October 2, 2018 Author Posted October 2, 2018 Sorry haven't seen this issue. What version of Chrome? The latest 69.0.3497.100
Luke 42078 Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 I believe you, I just have never seen it happen. I'm assuming your browser window is taller than this, right?

I selected an area for the screenshot, that's not the full browser window. Edited October 3, 2018 by delacosta78
ebr 16177 Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 What are you calling the "latest server"? Please provide actual version numbers. Thanks.

ebr 16177 Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 I thought you saw the screenshots at comment # 13... Yes, I see now. Thx. I can't reproduce either. Any browser add-ins? How about zoom/font scale settings?

Erik 124 Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 (edited) I continue to experiance the lack of the left scrollbar on 4 different machines using chrome. I had even down a full clean windows install on both a client and server machines to see if I could resolve it with all default settings. I gave up and hit refresh every time. Happy2Play 9780 Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 So now it is figuring out the variable that affect you and not others. As I have the same Chrome version and haven't seen this issue.
Richard Branches 330 Posted October 12, 2018 Author Posted October 12, 2018 I noticed today the scrollbar appears miraculously in the first attempt, did you do something server side maybe?
