DarWun 349 Posted March 19, 2018 Posted March 19, 2018 (edited) Using Emby beta 3.3.1.6 with an HDHomerun tuner and SchedulesDirect Guide data provider, all shows are being identified as new in the Guide. I only noticed this after 10 episodes of a show were recorded in the past several days that has no new episodes airing until tomorrow. The image below shows the guide data from earlier today. Quite a few of the shows identified as New are repeats (Family Ties, Modern Family, In the Heat of the Night), yet they are identified as New. I thought this might be a SchedulesDirect issue. But when I checked NextPVR which I have also setup to pull guide data from SchedulesDirect, only episodes that are actually New are identified as New. At this point I'm posting this to find out if this is "My" issue, or an issue that others are seeing as well. Feedback will help me direct my troubleshooting efforts (and ensure that I'm not unnecessarily wasting team Emby's time with a problem that no one else has). Edited March 19, 2018 by DarWun
Solution DarWun 349 Posted March 20, 2018 Author Solution Posted March 20, 2018 Nevermind. I looked through the Guide and found that the shows being identified as New past the seven day point are accurate. So I deleted SchedulesDirect as a provider and rescanned. After adding SchedulesDirect back as the guide provider and rescanning, the shows being identified as New for today onward seem to be okay. The scan is still in process, so I'll post back if anything changes. 1

I just notice that too shows marked as NEW even the "Golden Girls" are marked as NEW ... ... deleting and adding Guide data fixed it thanks. Edited March 21, 2018 by nyplayer

Are you sure they weren't new episodes of the Golden Girls revival series? I kid, I kid. I'm glad my post helped. I almost asked for it to be deleted since it turned out not to be an issue with Emby per se. But then I decided against doing so as I thought it might help others if they experience the same issue. On a somewhat tangential note: Sadly, I just googled and found out that a revival series for Golden Girls might be in the works (sort of)...this world is doomed Edited March 22, 2018 by DarWun
