Can't add movie to existing collection

Is there a limit to the number of movies in a collection? I've got the whole James Bond collection, but for some reason, Spectre won't add to it. There are 22 movies, and I only have 21 in the collection.

Got 24 in my JB collection, though added them a while ago, so if there's some kind of new bug...

...and 29 in my Carry On collection

OK, so I need to figure out why it won't add......

I removed it from the library, ran a scan, and re-added to the library. This allowed me to add it to the collection.

I have been adding multiple quality movies for my collections (4K and 1080p) and generally moving some files around.  I think this caused some issues with my collections.  For example,  I have The Hunger Games Collection but it only has Mockingjay Part 1 and 2 in it.  When I try to add the original Hunger Games (2012) it says the item has been added to the collection, but when I navigate over to the collection it still only shows the Mockingjay movies.

*all of these movies have multiple qualities in the naming convention below:

Movies/

           /Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1, The (2014)

                                                                                     /Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1, The (2014) - 4K.mkv

                                                                                     /Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1, The (2014) - 1080p.mkv

           /Hunger Games, The (2012)

                                                     /Hunger Games, The (2012) - 4K.mkv

                                                     /Hunger Games, The (2012) - 1080p.mkv

I've already tried deleting the autoboxset plugin and deleting the collection folder from the emby data directory. Also deleted Autobox.dll from the emby plugins directory and then re-scanned the library to make sure the boxsets were removed.  Reinstalled the Autoboxset plugin and re-scanned the library.

The problem still persists.  I have attached the log file of when I attempted to to add The Hunger Games to the collection.

*I'm running emby as a docker on unRAID if it makes any difference.

What is the contents of the xml for that collection?

It included all of the movies.  I'm assuming I have to edit it and remove the movies that it's not adding?

No the xml looks fine, so now we just need to look at why it's not showing up. what version of emby server?

I am having the same issue that started when I started multi versions. I use Directory/MovieName.mkv for standard definition and Directory/MovieName [bluRay].mkv for HD

Does removing the additional added items from colledtion.xml make a difference?

-<CollectionItem>
<Path>/mnt/Movies/Hunger Games, The (2012)/Hunger Games, The (2012) - 4K UHD.mkv</Path>
</CollectionItem>
-<CollectionItem>
<Path>/mnt/Movies/Hunger Games, The (2012)/Hunger Games, The (2012) - 4K UHD.mkv</Path>
</CollectionItem>
-<CollectionItem>
<Path>/mnt/Movies/Hunger Games, The (2012)/Hunger Games, The (2012) - 4K UHD.mkv</Path>
</CollectionItem>

So I removed the additional items and refreshed the boxset and library, but still no change.

MY PROBLEM SOLVED

I tried to readd bluray movies to a collection. I added them and then shut down the server to do an update of statistics plugin. When the server restarted and did it's startup scan. All of the missing movies were back in the  appropriate collections.

Is the Start server scan different for collections than the scan library function on the dashboard. That is the only difference I could see????

Nope, all automated scans are the same "Scan for new and updated files".
