porkbone 47 Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 Hello everyone, I haven't posted in a while, but seem to be having a problem with my Recorded TV library. The DVR is still recording series like it should, timers still show properly, but if I go to the Recorded TV - Recordings section it's blank. Everything else related to live TV is working like it should. I just can't see the recording within emby. I checked the folder and confirmed it's recording and saving the files on the hard drive too. I have removed the recorded TV folder twice from the library, scanned, set it up again and scanned and it still wont show any files. I uninstalled the server, saving all the data and reinstalled server 3.3.1 still no change. I moved the folder to another drive and recorded a show. It recorded and saved properly, still nothing in emby. This started with the update to server 3.3.1. I have been monitoring the forum's, but haven't seen any posts related to this. Any ideas or help would be appreciated. Here is the server log. I started the server then started Theater and tried to see recording around 8:47. I couldn't see anything that stood out, but I don't really know what to look for. Thanks emby server 3.3.1 emby theater 2.8.8 live tv through emby with Schedules direct - no other add ons server-63656873214.txt
Luke 42092 Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 Check the recordings path you configured to see where they are going.
porkbone 47 Posted March 17, 2018 Author Posted March 17, 2018 Hi Luke, I have G:\Recorded TV set up in the dashboard and the recordings are going there.
porkbone 47 Posted March 17, 2018 Author Posted March 17, 2018 @@Luke I checked the metadata manager and found the recodings link had changed by adding a 1 to the end of it. C:\Users\Brain\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\root\default\Recordings1 I just checked my folder setup in the library and the folder picture had changed to the default 4 panel pic and renamed to Recordings1. It still shows as unset and going to G:\Recorded TV. Nothing showing in theater recordings still.
Solution porkbone 47 Posted March 17, 2018 Author Solution Posted March 17, 2018 I figured it out. Since it changed the name to recordings1, I had to change the folder access for every user and check the box for Recordings1. It's now working. Not sure why the folder was renamed, but at least it's working! Thanks Luke, I just needed a push
