Luke 42077 Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 We don't use it for the recording conversion feature. It will be used for regular playback though.
PenkethBoy 2068 Posted March 17, 2018 Author Posted March 17, 2018 Ok - out of interest if thats the case what is hardware encoding used for? and no its not being used in playback either ffmpeg-transcode-2a6afb2f-e979-4678-b05f-75968dda03d4.txt
Luke 42077 Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 There see certain kinds of files it can't be used with so assuming you've actually enabled it that's probably the reason. The converting feature is soon to be deprecated once we have a feature to convert after the recording. It's just too unstable to convert on the fly.
