pingmanping 1 Posted March 15, 2018 Posted March 15, 2018 Hi, I have this problem for awhile now. The issue is whenever I add a new content to my library, the actors/actresses info are not showing up any longer. The older content seems to be fine just the new one is the problem. Also, Emby seems to be downloading the wrong primary image for the newer contents as well, and unable to download the other images such as backdrop and whatnot. My fix for this is manually grab the images and import them to Emby. It was not like this a couple of months ago. I am at version 3.2.60.0 on my unRaid Docker container. Thanks
Luke 42078 Posted March 15, 2018 Posted March 15, 2018 Hi there, as always I would suggest updating to the latest version of emby server. Then, can you please discuss a specific example? thanks.
pingmanping 1 Posted March 15, 2018 Author Posted March 15, 2018 (edited) Hi there, as always I would suggest updating to the latest version of emby server. Then, can you please discuss a specific example? thanks. I just checked the Docker container and there is no update for the emby container. Baseically, the section for "Cast & Crew" are missing for new movie I added to my library. Also, the trailers. The older movies have the trailers, but the new ones do not Edited March 15, 2018 by pingmanping
Luke 42078 Posted March 15, 2018 Posted March 15, 2018 What Docker install are you using? Our official docker is up to date: https://emby.media/docker-server.html
pingmanping 1 Posted March 15, 2018 Author Posted March 15, 2018 What Docker install are you using? Our official docker is up to date: https://emby.media/docker-server.html I am currently using the one from binhex-emby. I used to use the official one, but had an issue with it in the past. Then I switched to Linuxserver.io, but somehow it was not available anymore. I think I started this "crew & cast" section issue since January of this year. Anyways, I installed the emby from emby repository (unRaid), and it is still the same. The newer movies that I added since January do not have "Crew & Cast"

pingmanping 1 Posted March 15, 2018 Author Posted March 15, 2018 Can you please go over a specific example? thanks. See screenshot below. As you can see, there is no backdrop and no crew and cast
Luke 42078 Posted March 15, 2018 Posted March 15, 2018 can you try using the 3-dot menu and selecting refresh metadata? thanks.
Luke 42078 Posted March 15, 2018 Posted March 15, 2018 Also if you just setup a brand new server, then I'd like to see the server log from the initial library scan of these movies. You can learn how to obtain that here: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/739-how-to-report-a-problem/ Notice in your screenshot there is no MovieDb id. That means you either have it disabled or there was some kind of communication failure. Thanks.

Solution pingmanping 1 Posted March 15, 2018 Author Solution Posted March 15, 2018 Also if you just setup a brand new server, then I'd like to see the server log from the initial library scan of these movies. What would be the URLs that needs to be allowed from Emby to the Internet? At this point, I am allowing the following: omdbapi.com themoviedb.org fanart.tv mb3admin.com img.omdbapi.com 1
Luke 42078 Posted March 16, 2018 Posted March 16, 2018 musicbrainz.org and audiodb if you have music libraries. we also make requests to the github api to check for new versions.
