Last Server MAC Address

Hello,

 

I've recently noticed that my Emby for WMC would not find the server when started up.  I have it set to wake up the server via the advanced tab in the options.  When I looked at the MBCommonXml.config file, the <LastServerMacAddress> was blank.  I then manually entered in the MAC address of the server, saved the file, then started up WMC.  When I launched Emby, the server was woken up.  I then looked back at the MBCommonXML.config file, and the <LastServerMacAddress> had been blanked out again.

 

Any ideas as to why the MAC address would be cleared?

Hmm, yes this is due to a change in the server.

Thanks for the reply.  I have reverted back to v3.2.70 of Emby Server for now.  I'll look for your fix in future updates.

The problem is that the server api has been revamped for this so it isn't really a bug. This may just have to wait until we can get into EMC and update it to the newer way of doing things.
