Playback of Movie Stops

Hi all,

I have one movie in particular that was ripped that stops playing for whatever reason. It will run for 30 -45 secs, not exactly sure of the time but then just stop.  I have no errors popping up on the screen the movie just exits back out to the movie screen where you can either resume the movie or start it.  I used the same settings on Handbrake that I have for all my other movies and this is the only one that has had an issue. Logs are attached. Thanks for any help.

Nick

Looks like a bad encode but perhaps updating FFMpeg will help?  I'll defer to Luke on that.

We might have to attach a bitstream filter, or it could also just be a badly encoded file. Can you provide a copy of the video for testing? Thanks.

How do you want me to provide a copy of the movie to you? Just a snippet? How long?

A snippet is fine provided that the problem also occurs with the snippet. a 1 minute sample is enough. thanks.

Never mind I found some software and have a snippet but it won't let me attach it.  It's only 72 MB so it should be fine size while to attach.

Trying to upload again but I keep getting "error you aren't permitted to upload this kind of file" message.  It's a mp4 file.

Can you zip it up?

Thanks. This one is strange. I can't even get this file to transcode successfully.
