Emby Won't Start

Hello,

 

I only just noticed but Emby has stopped working. I assume this happened a few days back. Reasoning for this is a few days back one of the OS hard drives in my server failed and I had to replace the hdd in raid. Everything went well and data migrated from the other hdd in the raid. I haven't noticed any issues since but I just went to check a movie on Emby and it wasn't started.

 

I tried starting it from services and it shows this error  - "Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.

 

 

I tried to open Emby from C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\system but nothing happens. 

 

I'm at a loss really. I think maybe a file is damaged but could do with some help.

Hi.  Is it the current version of Emby (3.3.1) and are you using the proper method of running as a service?

I updated Emby via the downloads page and it resolved the issue. Not sure what happened but my guess is a file became broken somewhere. Either way thanks for the reply.
