Old version using service

Hi Guys

 

I have an older version running as a service

 

I did see something regarding changes (why i haven't updated) and about downloading a 3rd party tool to do the same thing?

 

Now i can't find this thread and it was a few months ago i think

 

Whats the latest thoughts on this topic?

How should emby be running on a windows server

I ran it as a service as i had problems when the server stopped (due to powercut) and EMBY would not work until i logged in

Running as a service fixed this and it was faultless until the apps got out of sync or some killer must have function was cured in a later release and i updated

 

It would be nice to get EMBY to update without having to remote in a start/stop services to update.

Is this 3rd party tool still needed

 

If anyone could point me in a good direction i would appreciate it
