jmccl069 7 Posted March 11, 2018 Posted March 11, 2018 I have just upgraded (?) the FreeNAS Server plugin to 3.3.1.0 and it is constantly crashing. The previous plugins have been completely stable and worked without issue. Since updating to the latest version I find that Emby doesn't work and I have to go back into the FreeNAS console to restart the Emby Server plugin because it has turned itself off. Is there a way that I can go back to the previous version which worked flawlessly for me? I have attached a couple of log files. The first one is from when the server was running and then crashed. The second one is from when I restarted the server. The third one shows up in the logs as unhandled (might be relevant to the issue?) Any assistance would be appreciated. server-63656442292.txt server-63656442713.txt unhandled.txt

jmccl069 7 Posted March 11, 2018 Author Posted March 11, 2018 (edited) Thanks for the quick response Luke but your link seems to relate to checking for updates which is not my issue. The plugin does exhibit the "Secure Channel Failure" issue but it constantly stops working altogether requiring me to manually restart it via the FreeNAS console. As I said above... it has worked without issue before I updated to the latest version... Edited March 11, 2018 by jmccl069
Luke 42077 Posted March 11, 2018 Posted March 11, 2018 Ok you'll need to remove all plugin DLLs from /var/db/emby-server/plugins Then install the latest versions of those plugins. Granted you can't do that right now, but you can follow that other topic. Thanks.
Kent 92 Posted March 12, 2018 Posted March 12, 2018 I'm having the same issue upon updating to 3.3.1.0 this morning. I'm following the other thread to keep an eye on the fix. Will delete out the plug-ins for now.
MRobi 161 Posted March 13, 2018 Posted March 13, 2018 Is there a way that I can go back to the previous version which worked flawlessly for me? You should be able to restore your jail from a snapshot right out of the FreeNAS GUI, this should bring it back to the version before you did the update.
Luke 42077 Posted March 13, 2018 Posted March 13, 2018 Rolling back to an older version won't make any difference because these are changes made by Github that Emby server needs to adapt to.
NYRANGERS423 2 Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 Hey Luke, I am also on Version 3.3.1.0 and I also do get the SecureChannelFailure. I did try removing all plugin DLLs and reinstalling but didn't seem to fix it. What I do find weird is after updating to 3.3.1.0 after a few hours from starting the service all External https connections will not connect. External http and Internal http and https will connect from my chrome browser. I would fix this issue by restarting emby-server. If there is more information I can provide to help please let me know. I also see you all around the forums, you help a lot of people, thanks and good job!
Luke 42077 Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 Hi there, can you please attach the emby server log? Thanks.
NYRANGERS423 2 Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 Here is the last 3 logs, thanks a bunch. server-63656896945.txt server-63656896890.txt server-63656896562.txt
NYRANGERS423 2 Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 The issue has occurred now I just took a screenshot of what happens when trying to connect using https. I will leave it in this state and if there is anything you think I should try let me know. Thanks again.
