default audio track on live tv

Getting the descriptive audio track playing when direct playing/direct streaming SD definition channels.

 

Can't say it is every channel. Haven't checked them all.

 

This using an nvidia shield and a sony bravia.

 

Transcoding seems to solve it.

 

Also the "Zoom" function is not working on the Sony Bravia - instead of zooming it moves the displayed video to the left.

Hi i wonder i someone can help i have emby server setup on Win 7 i have a DVBS Card setup with DVBLogic iptv Server all setup on Astra 28.2 e

so i receive bbc, itv etc but i receive the signal with two audio tracks

the problem i have is that emby default plays the 1st audio track which is (Nar eng) in other words Audio Descriptive  

what i would like to do is set it to play track 2 that is English Stereo by default

Yes.

 

When I force it to transcode via enable live seeking or playback correction the audio is the correct one.

Yeah it’s been this way for 6 months or so. No real info on what’s being done or how long and it was working fine before it was disabled

If any of you are on the Android TV beta, please see how it behaves with yesterday's beta release (1.5.59).  You should get an audio selection button/menu now but I'm interested in if the audio is actually correct.

The problem is it doesn't know about the extra tracks until after playback starts.  If I wait to do default track selection at that time then we are right back where we started with the channel start up taking too long.
