Blue Kachina 12 Posted March 6, 2018 Posted March 6, 2018 Hey all; I'm running into recurring database corruption. I'm on v3.3.1.0 of Emby Server currently, but have been through several updates throughout the duration of this issue. Every few days now, I seem to get errors in my server notifications that indicate: "Exception of type 'SQLitePCL.pretty.SQLiteException' was thrown" When this happens, I've been typically deleting my library.db file after shutting down the server, and then letting the server automatically rebuild it. Since this continues to happen however, I'm wondering if you could make any recommendations on other steps I should be taking. Please advise; Thanks!
Luke 42080 Posted March 6, 2018 Posted March 6, 2018 The typical cause of this is a sudden abrupt termination of the emby server process, for example, killing the process, the machine crashing, windows crashing, a power loss, etc.

The rest of the times though don't seem to relate to the potential culprits you've mentioned. The server is on a machine that has a reliable UPS, windows uptime lives through these DB crashes, and there is nothing noted in Windows 10 eventvwr for abnormal termination of the process. ebr 16185 Posted March 6, 2018 Posted March 6, 2018 Do you have anything other than Emby attempting to access the database?
