Cant chromecast 4k content? Can someone help me isolate the issue?

Hope this is the right forum, I didn't see one devoted to the chromecast.  Basically, when i chromecast any 4k file, It will play for 20-30 seconds, then 'kick off' back to the emby artwork.  My guess is this isn't just an emby issue, but I don't know how to narrow it down any further.  Im using a 4k chromecast that is wired, the ubuntu machine is wired Full duplex 1000 mb/s too.  I have an Asus RT-AC68U running Merlin FW v343. 

 

If its the chromecast, or my router, or whatever it is, that's fine Ill upgrade whatever needs to be upgraded, I'm just pulling my hair out trying to figure this out.
