Problem with identification of TV show

Hi,

 

I have TV recordings of a TV series/show called Gomorrha. There are records of this show on TheTVDB.com (https://www.thetvdb.com/?tab=series&id=281342).

 

The naming scheme for the series is the same as for the other series for which the recognition and information display works. There is a folder for the series, a subfolder for the season and I named the episodes "Gomorrha S01E01.mp4" and so forth.

 

I went into Emby's metadata manager in order to manually identify the show. Interestingly, the show is found. But after selecting the found entry and clicking on "Save", Emby still doesn't show any info about the show. What is also a bit strange is that Gomorrha is the only series that shows three picture symbols behind it in the metadata manager: a red one, an orange one and a grey one (see screenshot).

 

What could be the problem that I don't get to see any info about this show?

looking at the tvdb page you linked to its Gomorrah not Gomorrha

 

Although that will depend on what language settings you have etc

 

also some of the posters show Gomorra

What exactly did you do here? Did you just edit information? Or did you use the Identify feature?

Seems like there are many different spellings of this name. And even though Gomorrha appears to be most widely used and the one used on Wikipedia and Amazon, this acutally did the trick. I changed the name to Gomorrah and now the show was recognized. Thanks for the tip.
