OT: New Setup for a friend

So I have a main pc that serves xbox extenders media, another cpu, and android clients MB and TV (OTA Antenna).  My cable bill doesn't exist and it works great.  My friend would like a similar setup.  He needs to run for now just two televisions.  I am thinking something along the lines of this:

Is this a good deal for this kind of computer?  Can I get something with better specs at this price range?  Just cause it's my friend, I am trying to do it cheap and simple.

Really, nobody has any experience with these budget computers?  Do you think it's powerful enough for MB and to serve an additional client?

Don't have any experience with these things, but looking at the CPU it should be able to run the server. I'd guess and this is just a guess because I don't know for sure, it can probably run 1 transcode process. To me it would be better if you were not transcoding with it since the CPU is really underpowered. If your not transcoding (ie just using MBC or MBT locally), then it should be fine.

I might be tempted to spend a little more money and build something.  Pentium D are getting long in the tooth.  But as gcw07 if you not doing transcoding then the CPU is not an issue.  Disk and network become the issue for the most part.  Might find the 2gb is also light on the memory side of things.  Below is a very quick build (Might be mistakes and or changes that one might make). Total Canadian is 391$ before taxes and shipping.  With a little more searching you could probably get that price down.  The case is missing for some reason, but that can be had for 40$ CND there abouts.
