Playback error. No compatible streams are currently available

I am trying to trim movies I recorded by cutting at the beginning and the end of the movies.and moving the file to the movies directory. I am using the following command for this:

 

ffmpeg -i "A Few Good Men 2018-03-03.mkv" -c copy -ss 00:00:40 -t 02:46:59 /home/media/movies/"A Few Good Men (1992).mkv"

 

I did it several times before and it worked, not I get the error message as depicted in Topic Title.

 

Running on CENTOS 7 server, emby 3.3.1.0
