FR: Server- Choose purpose of downloaded artwork

So on the server when I'm viewing TV on the server it shows thumb view which I like but not all my shows have thumbs so some show the backdrop. My backdrops and thumbs are handled differently through coverart so it kills the uniformed look I have going, plus the ones displaying the backdrops have the names displayed while the others don't. Now here's where my request comes in, some of the ones that don't have thumbs have backdrops that would make perfectly good thumbs but i cant download them from the server as thumbs just backdrops. In order to download them I have to go to the series on thetvdb.com copy the backdrop url go to upload image on server and paste the url to get it. I want to be able to while on server go browse online images find a image and click something like "download as" that way i could choose to download a backdrop as a thumb for movies/series that dont have them just for the sake of visual uniformity (Mediabrowser has kind of given me digital media O.C.D.)

I find the server dasboard shows..when viewing shows by thumb..the backdrop as the image, with text of show name overlay, in instances where thumb doesnt exist. So maybe the request that other clients do the same is simpler / as effective?

That won't solve his specific issue due to his use of CoverArt which treats the thumbs but not the backdrops.

 

I think this is a reasonable request although I don't know how high priority.
