music playlists lost

I've just realised my music playlists have gone? I put them In a folder in the music folder.. I can see the playlists in the folder still but they don't show in emby anymore. I haven't used them in a while so I don't know when this occurred..

can I drop the playlists in somewhere to re-populate?

If you're saying you took the playlist files created by emby server, and moved them to a different location, then this is not supported. You'll need to put them back where they were and then run a library scan. Thanks.

where do they go in the appdata folder? I think they were a backup actually(the ones in the music folder)

Locate the server's programdata folder, and then underneath that, data/playlists. If you're unsure please attach an emby server log and i can use that to tell you what the full path should be. thanks.
