All items in libraries lost after password change?

Hello,

After reading a lot on these forums in the last few days to address a separate issue I decided to create additional users in Emby to be able to restrict some of them to Direct Play only.  I proceeded yesterday to create a user dedicated to my Roku stick and set the password for the user.  At the same time I decided I was way passed due to change the password of my main Emby user.  After changing the password I proceeded to log on from both of my HTPCs to update the password.  Everything was fine.  A few minutes later, I had lost all items in my libraries.  The libraries were there but were showing No items.  I tried from the HTPC, my Android phone and web browser.  Same result.

I forced a library scan and items started coming back.  However all customizations of images or metadata were lost.  I have a library that defaults to Engligh but has about 5-10% of french content (1000+ movies and TV shows).  I had to let the scan complete and then go back through all the content to change the language on the french items.  It was very time consumming.  Any future feature that would allow to apply a metadata change to a selection of items would be welcome!

Here is the server log from the time period where I created the new user and change the password on my main user.  I created the new user on 2018-03-01 around 16:41 and changed the password on my main user around 16:47.

Any idea what went wrong?  I would like to be able to save myself that trouble the next time I change the password (if it is related at all to the password change).

Thanks

hi @@bls_fanatic, apologies for the disruption. This is not related to the password change and is instead related to a defect in the 3.3 version. We've released 3.3.1 to resolve this. You'll need a library scan to restore any missing content. Thanks.
