Guest asrequested Posted March 29, 2018 Posted March 29, 2018 (edited) TrueHD is now working, but not DTS-HD. I'm wondering if DTS-HD isn't working because in the audio selection, it's all DTS, no HD. Edited March 29, 2018 by Doofus
Guest asrequested Posted March 29, 2018 Posted March 29, 2018 My bad! I just changed the name of the folder, from dts-hd to dts-hd ma, and it worked. Is there any way to separate Atmos from TrueHD? I know it's only metadata and not a codec, but it would groovy if we could have both, and not just TrueHD. I have one movie that has EAC3+Atmos.
GhostRider 49 Posted March 29, 2018 Author Posted March 29, 2018 @, quick question, is there a new version of Emby Server or Emby Theater that you are using to get dts-hd ma codec intro to work?
Guest asrequested Posted March 29, 2018 Posted March 29, 2018 Just the latest server release. I've got the folder named, dts-hd ma. All lower case.
Guest asrequested Posted March 29, 2018 Posted March 29, 2018 I'm just remembering that I have some files outside of the folders. I didn't think about those, when I tested. I don't remember what I put there. I'll have to do a quick check, tonight. If I have enough time.
Guest asrequested Posted March 29, 2018 Posted March 29, 2018 I did have one outside the folders. I'll re-test when I get a chance.
GhostRider 49 Posted March 29, 2018 Author Posted March 29, 2018 (edited) Just updated to Emby Server 3.3.1.0. My dts-hd ma Codec intro still does not play. My Codec Intro folder looks like this: No sub folder for dts-hd ma, just a single file. All my movies with a dts-hd ma sound track just play a random intro from the DTS folder. Guest asrequested Posted March 29, 2018 Posted March 29, 2018 Try a folder for dts-hd ma. That's how I have mine.
Guest asrequested Posted March 30, 2018 Posted March 30, 2018 (edited) Re-tested......working. How I have my folders (the Atmos folder doesn't work) Edited March 30, 2018 by Doofus
GhostRider 49 Posted March 30, 2018 Author Posted March 30, 2018 Created a dts-hd ma folder and moved my dts-hd ma.mkv into it. Still does not work for me. It plays a random intro from the DTS folder not the intro in the dts-hd ma folder. @@Luke - could this be an issue on the server side as all looks right for my setup. @@ebr is the codec display issue for Emby Theater on the wish list to be fixed?
Guest asrequested Posted March 30, 2018 Posted March 30, 2018 I also have the file named the same way. I wonder if that makes a difference. I haven't tested putting multiple files in the folder.
GhostRider 49 Posted March 30, 2018 Author Posted March 30, 2018 (edited) What display issue? Hi @@Luke This is the display issue reported earlier: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/56548-codec-intros-questions/?p=551345 Edited March 30, 2018 by GhostRider
