Not moving show to first position in Next up after watching

I originally put this problem under the Roku forum but it is now showing up under two different clients making me believe it is a server problem.

This time it is on my Shield TV.

I played an episode from position 10 on Next up and it played correctly. After it finished the episode correctly advanced to the next episode but it did not move to first position in Next up but rather remained at position 10.

 

I exited the app and reentered and there was no change the show was still at position 10.

However I started playback of the new episode and stopped it after a couple of seconds and the show moved to where it belongs at the first position.

 

I have tested on my Roku further as well and the behavior described, Next up corrects itself after just a couple of seconds of playback, is repeatable. Also it does not matter which episode from Next up is briefly played. Any playback will cause the errant show to fix its position.

 

Note: I restarted the server just before making this test.

Hi, this will be specific to each app and the way they refresh their content after playback.

 Two VERY different apps showing this bug in exactly the same way sure makes it seem like the server is at fault. Maybe the server is not supplying the correct info at all times.

 

It should be noted that I also see this bug in the Fire TV app.
