Server Panel Not Showing Currently Playing For Ember For XBOX

Hey Guys,

 

I wasn't quite sure where to post this because it concerns the server, ember for xbox and a comment about Emby Theater for xbox.  I am on Version 3.3.0.3 beta.

 

Recently when playing a movie on ember for xbox if I watch the progress in the manage server page, about 5 minutes into the movie the admin page will say that I stopped playing the movie when in fact it is still playing and I lose the ability to see the progress of the movie.  The dashboard thinks that I stopped playing it.  I am not sure if looking at logs will help to see this issue but I will provide them if asked.

 

I have been using Ember for a while now because for me it always seems to be more stable than Emby for xbox.  It constantly has been reliable in playing movies all the way through.

 

I noticed that it was reported that a few things were fixed for Emby for Xbox thought I thought I would go back and give it a try.  I would love to be able to use it because it has more functionality than ember. Upon checking I noticed that all of the cover art is being shown in the all movies page. Thanks for fixing that! However I chose a movie that I had just finished watching all the way through with ember and with emby theater it froze about half way through. .

 

If I need to I will post the second half of this post to the emby theater forum as well.

Update: I am now seeing this issue for Emby theater as well. About a half hour into the movie the server dashboard said that I had stopped playing the movie when I was still watching it. I am running the most current beta.

Thanks @@Luke. If it helps I have many different device platforms connecting to my server. The dashboard shows progress all the way to the end for every platform. The only one that is failing is Xbox. For emby theater for Xbox it seems like it is stopping at or around 30 minutes. The dashboard will say I (or a remote user) stopped playing the movie when in fact it is still playing. Thanks for looking into this!

Sorry to keep posting but i thoufht this would be relevant. When the movie was over I hit the back button during the credits and the controls were unresponsive. Then a few seconds later the app crashed to the dashboard.
