rickyd25 0 Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 Keep getting the same error message come up every time i open the app now and clearing the cache doesn't make any difference now its making it near impossible to watch tv shows, movies still seem to load fine but it times out loading all the tv shows is there a way of bypassing this so it doesn't time out?

Luke 42078 Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 Can you please attach the emby server log? you can learn how to do that here: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/739-how-to-report-a-problem/ Thanks.
kanipek 230 Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 volley error com.android.volley.timeouterror. seeing it on start up, before if i cleared the cache it would be fine but now it doesn't change anything I see this error occasionally with the Nvidia Shield and Sony Bravia. Solve it by rebooting the device and or the server (less frequently). Quite a few people don't understand how to reboot the Bravia Android TV - It isn't simply turning it off and then on, while it is on hold down the power button on the remote until it goes into a reboot - around 20 seconds. I reboot my Bravia weekly, if I don't then issues like this tend to crop up with Emby and other apps. Clearing the cache is also good practice IMO. Hope it helps!

ebr 16182 Posted August 7, 2018 Posted August 7, 2018 It just freezes and crashes every time I try and send log That would indicate that the entire network connection for the TV has gone down.
rickyd25 0 Posted August 7, 2018 Author Posted August 7, 2018 That would indicate that the entire network connection for the TV has gone down. Checked the internet and it's running fine could it be a firewall issue?
ebr 16182 Posted August 7, 2018 Posted August 7, 2018 That's extremely hard to say without seeing specifics. We're talking about a wireless connection here?
rickyd25 0 Posted August 7, 2018 Author Posted August 7, 2018 That's extremely hard to say without seeing specifics. We're talking about a wireless connection here? Nope all wired in everything else runs perfectly fine it's just emby
Luke 42078 Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 It just freezes and crashes every time I try and send log Can you also attach the emby server log? You can learn how to do that in the link I posted above. Thanks !
