smooth transition to another emby server

I was wondering if there is a way to transition users local and remote to another emby server without them having to re-configure their clients. Last time i did this, even though the host name didn't change, everyone had to re-configure their clients to connect to the new server with the exact same config info.

Hi.  We don't currently have a way to migrate guest users between different server installations.  Each server has a unique server ID and this is what would need to be preserved.

 

So, if you can physically pick up the entire Emby-Server folder and move it to the new machine, that may work.
