ShaneG30 0 Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 I've tried marking all seasons of "Counting Cars" as watched and then "Unwatched" and then marking the episodes I've watched as "watched".
ebr 16185 Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 Hi. Exactly where are you seeing this? You will need to be sure every episode has a proper season and episode number for this functionality to work properly. Can you check that with the metadata editor?
AdrianW 1058 Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 Also, it's important to check "Sort Title" in the metadata editor - for TV episodes Sort Title should almost always be blank, otherwise you'll find that the episodes are sorted by that field instead of by season/episode number. The only time Sort Title should not be blank would be where you want to force the order to be different - like to match disc order vs transmission order and then you'd be populating the field with numbers. 1
ShaneG30 0 Posted February 26, 2018 Author Posted February 26, 2018 (edited) Refreshing the metadata to add new metadata resulted in getting the episode numbers BUT Emby has decided to put the same episode numbers on every two episodes. For example: Both episode 1 and 2 both have an episode number of "1", which means that if I watch episode 1, episode 2 gets skipped and episode 3 is put in "up next", because Emby thinks I've watched episode 2 despite it not being "watched". ebr 16185 Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 It sounds like either your items have existing nfo files (with erroneous information) or your file names do not follow our naming conventions. Can you please confirm those two items and/or show us a screen shot of the contents of the folder containing these files?

ebr 16185 Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 And if you edit info on "05 Back in..." what is the episode number? Looks like it is 4.
