Because the plugin required an update and now you have it.

Most of my UHD's and a number of my HD-DVD's aren't getting the correct (or any) treatment/overlays applied to them.

The UHD's are setup to apply UHD cover to HEVC video and the HD-DVD's are using Tags.  Some work, but other's don't.. Know idea why.

Running latest version of Emby and Coverart.

Just finished installing server 3.3.0 and the latest Cover Art plugin. I am using Sapphire for the seasons treatment and the Case treatment for movies and it is excellent. When using the Sapphire treatment for TV Shows the grid spacing between posters becomes too narrow. When using the Diamond treatment the grid spacing increases. I noticed that the Diamond treatment reduces the size of the poster versus the Sapphire treatment. I do like the bluish tinge of the Sapphire treatment is there a setting that reduces the applied size or is it possible to create a Sapphire treatment that mimics the Diamond treatment? I am asking because there is only one grid spacing setting for the Throgsoft Ascendancy poster template that I use for top TV show folders and movie folders.

Finally if I wanted to apply a custom treatment to just top folders that have movies as subfolders like Thor, is that selectable at the end of the treatment choices where it now shows for folders Ignore?

On the spacing, no there isn't anything you can do here except use consistent treatments.  The Diamond treatment has padding built into it and the Sapphire one doesn't (it was specifically created to not have padding).

Sorry, afraid I don't understand this question...

That explains the reason why the Diamond treatment results in a better grid spacing. At present I use Diamond treatment for the TV Series posters, it would be nice to duplicate that except with the bluish Sapphire appearance. In other words a Sapphire treatment with padding. I sort of surmised that you would have to create an additional entry for it in the selection for treatments. Is that possible and doable?

As far as the question you don't understand or that I have badly stated here is hopefully a better explanation. I do have collections of movies grouped under one top folder. For example I have a folder called "Thor Collections" under that I have three subfolders with the three Thor movies. Cover Art treats the three subfolders properly. At present I have created custom Folder.png files for the top collection folder and they display properly and are based on a PNG template that I got years ago from the MB community and it fits somewhat into the overall appearance. What I was asking is there a treatment that can be applied to this very top folder since the folder has only background, folder, ClearArt and Logo images a folder.xml file plus the three subfolders for the Thor movies. This way I would not have to create custom folder.png files and the overall appearance would be uniform.

Thanks for your help.

Those will just be plain old folders and will get that treatment style (default ignore).

If you use the proper collections defined via the system, then they will be treated as Box Sets and you will get more functionality from them as well.

Ok here's the log.

Before grabbing it I Uninstalled coverart, restarted, reinstalled coverart, and restarted again. No change.

I then did a full metadata refresh (including images) on 3:10 to Yuma (A bluray that is no longer displaying the BD coverart) and Atomic Blonde (UHD)

Most of my Bluray mkv's have the correct BD cover overlay and a few of my UHD's do. I even have a couple collections that are showing a 4k overlay, but the items they contain don't show the UHD cover. Frustrating to say the least.

The image processing library (Skia) is failing to save the treated image.  We see this sometimes on some file systems and I'm not sure exactly to what it is related.  Perhaps Luke has some ideas of what you may be able to try.
