Server v3.3.0.0... Home Screen Live TV display options

In the web UI, the home screen now displays this for 'Live TV':

 

 

whereas, prior to the update, the contents of 'Live TV' > 'Latest Recordings' was displayed, including any active recordings.

 

The latter (old style) is my preference, but I see no options available to achieve this.

 

Home Screen display options do not offer "Recent Recordings', only 'Active Recordings':

 

 

And HS content selection doesn't present any viable options that I can see, either.

 

 

Am I missing something?

Recordings are just regular library items so you will just enable the latest media option

'Latest Media' has always been selected

 

 

content of which, I believe, is determined by the HS Content Selection:

 

 

where 'Live TV' isn't a media option.

 

Based on that selection, I see:

 

- 'Recent Movies'

- 'Recent Tunez'

- Recent TV Series"

 

for 'Latest Media'. That's it,  but I don't see 'Recent Recordings'. Clearly I've missed a setting somewhere?

ServerWMC. I have have a Ceton Eth6 tuner, which is unsupported natively.

 

'Latest Recordings' displays correctly under 'Live TV' > 'Recordings', tho.

Right OK. I have to update the ServerWMC plugin and then send those changes to krustyreturns. But recordings will just become the equivalent to a channel plugin and that will give you all the features that other channels have.

If I understand you correctly, this will become a HS Content option like Podcasts & Trailers, to be displayed as 'Latest ..."?

 

This will just entail a plugin update?

@@Luke, I realize the plugin changes probably haven't been made, but this may still be relevant.

 

I've updated to Server Version 3.3.0.4 beta due to issues I've discussed elsewhere with EMC. Since doing so, Recordings in the Live TV view are no longer populating. Is this a step towards the changes you mention above, or a  new issue?

 

I use a Ceton Eth6 w/ ServerWMC/SWMC plugin & this, at least worked with v3.3.0.0.
