Messaging Doesn't Work to Roku APP

Can someone fix the messaging option to the roku app? It hasn't worked in a while. I checked my amazon fire stick it works.

Hi.  Exactly what are you trying to do?  We have tested this and it is working - although, if you leave the Roku app up long enough, we have seen cases where the Roku platform will simply stop delivering these messages to the app.

 

Also, if you are trying to communicate with an app not on your local LAN then firewalls and routers could come into play as well.
