Raspberry Pi 3 with Emby Server for m3u Live Tv Recording

Im looking into purchasing a raspberry pi 3 with emby premium server. However before I do so I would like to know if anyone has tried this setup to successfully record m3u streams?

 

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Looking to find out how reliable the server is and if the recordings always record correctly.

Yes for basic recording without conversion it should be fine.
