Luke 42078 Posted May 18, 2018 Posted May 18, 2018 I post here because the folders sorted among files changed after version 3.2 sometime. It used to be that in the Web app a top folder that had folders with individual movies appeared first after the last one individual movies are then displayed in alphabetical order. I read somewhere that this was introduced in a new release but that it would be restored in an upcoming release. Is there a setting somewhere that needs to be set so that when I click on the left side panel on entry folders rather then the library name that I will get for the movies library the displaying of folders with movies before getting a totally alphabetically sorted movie selection? Thanks O2G @@One2Go, One of the available sort options is "Folders", so I would just switch to that. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.
One2Go 120 Posted May 19, 2018 Posted May 19, 2018 @@Luke, Thanks tried that and it indeed returns the folder collections as first to be displayed followed by the alphabetical sorting of single movie folders.
Luke 42078 Posted May 19, 2018 Posted May 19, 2018 In the interests of self service and improvement, what could have been done to make that easier to discover?
One2Go 120 Posted May 20, 2018 Posted May 20, 2018 Before I posted in this thread I read in other threads that I found by searching for "Folder View" several statements by you that this would be fixed in a future release so I did not search for another solution, just waited for a fix. It did not effect me as much as others that posted here and in the other threads since I use the Throgsoft themes in EMC and it's diplay and navigation is very much to my liking. I only use the Web App if I need to administer my collection. In any occasion thanks for providing an excellent media collection tool and display.
Luke 42078 Posted May 20, 2018 Posted May 20, 2018 OK yes it's been right in the UI for a couple releases now.
