timandsteffi 2 Posted February 19, 2018 Posted February 19, 2018 I've recently tried to stream TV show episodes (I had problems with downloading, or thought I did - see separate thread) but sometimes the Emby app doesn't seem to 'see' to actual length of the episode, which causes it to cut out part way through. For example I was trying to watch a 45 minute TV show episode, when it first started streaming the Emby app showed it's total length as only 45 seconds, then it gradually increased as I watched - 2 mins, 4 mins and up to 10 mins 47 secs. But it didn't increase further, and when what I was watching got up to the 10mins47secs mark it cut out and tried to load the next episode. 1

timandsteffi 2 Posted February 19, 2018 Author Posted February 19, 2018 I just tried to reproduce this problem - I'm on the train now so only have 4G (no Wifi) from the phone, which is when I saw the problem before. I tried streaming a couple of episodes of different shows, including one that's 1.5hrs long, and didn't see the problem again. I'll update here again if I see the problem come back
