Crestj 68 Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 Just tried sending some music from the Android client to a squeezebox using the awesome new DNLA feature and after a long pause the client died. Works from the MB server website dashboard so I know it should work. I guess this is a feature that will just need testing in the android client but wanted to let you know. Crestj 68 Posted March 19, 2014 Author Posted March 19, 2014 Got the updated version but it still fails to load the music on the Squeezebox. Is it just me or does anyone else have this issue? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
Redshirt 1487 Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 (edited) Does the client do anything when you attempt to play? Edited March 19, 2014 by Redshirt
Crestj 68 Posted March 19, 2014 Author Posted March 19, 2014 Not really, it becomes unresponsive briefly then just leaves you at the page with your album on. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
Crestj 68 Posted March 19, 2014 Author Posted March 19, 2014 (edited) Let me try again when I get home and send the log. Edited March 19, 2014 by Crestj
Crestj 68 Posted March 19, 2014 Author Posted March 19, 2014 Here you go https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/11699277/client-eb974e3e-f8bf-4307-a587-949572b2a235.txt
Redshirt 1487 Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 That log doesn't appear to contain a cc playback. It looks like you played something locally
Crestj 68 Posted March 20, 2014 Author Posted March 20, 2014 Just after it failed to play I tried to play the same track locally to make sure it worked and it did. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
Redshirt 1487 Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Doh, when I re factored all my text values to prepare for localization of the client I somehow unhooked the remote play button in the artist bio view. It shouldn't have become unresponsive, it should have just done nothing. It should work from the album / song list like you expect until I publish the fix.
Crestj 68 Posted March 21, 2014 Author Posted March 21, 2014 Thanks Red. Look forward to it. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
