revengineer 142 Posted February 17, 2018 Posted February 17, 2018 I am fighting an issue using multiple EPG URLs and would like to check whether this is a bug or whether I am doing something stupid. I have an m3u file from an IPTV provider. the IPTV provider provides only partial EPG data via an XMLTV URL link. EPG for German channels are missing so I would like to augment with a link from koditvepg. Both URLs are assigned to the one m3u tuner. However, it seems that only EPG channel from the first EPG can be mapped. That is, when I load the the English EPG first and then the German one, I can map the English channels. On the other hand, if the German EPG is setup first and then the English one, I can only map German channels. I have tried splitting up the m3u file into English and German channels and assign an EPG to each m3u file. The outcome is the same as above. It almost seems like emby can only deal with ONE EPG for mapping EPG to channels. I verified this behavior with both the latest stable (3.2.70) and latest beta (3.2.70.15). Am I doing some thing wrong here? Or is this a limitation in emby? Thanks. PS: I apologize if this sounds confusing. It took a couple of hours to wrap my heads around this issue. 1
Luke 42078 Posted February 18, 2018 Posted February 18, 2018 Did you try using the mapping function on the second epg?
revengineer 142 Posted February 18, 2018 Author Posted February 18, 2018 yes, mapping on the second EPG is the problem. The mapping options offered for the second EPG are those from the first EPG.
