Invited guest not showing up anywhere

First off, I'm using Linux Mint as my base OS for Emby but since this is a general question and not necessarily a Linux issue, I decided to post here. If this is the wrong forum, sorry about that.

 

For over a  year, I had Emby up and running and only had my brother added to my server. (I forget if he was on there as a Guest or User.) When he would connect to Emby and stream stuff, from the dashboard, I could see his account logged in and actively streaming.

 

About a two weeks ago, I moved to Antergos (Arch), hated it then moved back to Mint which required a format of my boot SSD and I reinstalled Emby. (Ok, enough with Linux, now I switch over to the general problem)

 

From the dashboard, I clicked on the button to add a Guest. I entered his email address and I don't think he did anything other than loading the Emby app on his phone (or Roku, forget which one he used) and he was able to start streaming live TV like he has always been able to. It probably cached whatever on his device because he didn't have to click on any email link to re-authorize his account.

 

What is weird though (and the main point of my post), when he was streaming TV from me, the dashboard showed -MY- username as the person watching TV instead of his account. Before, it would definitely show HIS username as the person streaming TV.

 

When I go into 'Users', I see my account in there (Gene) and that's it. I don't see his account anywhere. Could have sworn that before, I could see his  account. If his account isn't listed, how is he able to stream from me? When he does stream, why does it show my account 'Gene' as the person streaming?

Because the emby connect account must be linked to your own user. Either remove that or invite a different emby connect account.

Ok, got it working..... sort of. I sent out two invites to friends and when I click on 'Users', under 'Guests', I see them listed now! But, I sent another invite to my brother yet don't see him listed as a pending invite or under Guests. How do I revoke his access to start again with his account?
