Sammy 790 Posted February 15, 2018 Posted February 15, 2018 (edited) I'm seeing an issue where my TV Shows are not being placed in their series subfolder. I ran a supplemental library scan just now. An example is shown in the picture for The Big Bang Theory and a server log will be posted when I get it down to size.PLEX doesn't exhibit this issue BTW. Luke 42080 Posted February 15, 2018 Posted February 15, 2018 Hi there, please check your TV folder structure against our supported naming conventions: https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/TV%20naming Thanks !
Sammy 790 Posted February 15, 2018 Author Posted February 15, 2018 Been working fine all along but now this. I'll take a look but my structure is and always has been. T:/TVSeries/SeriesName/Season XX/ Episode Name.
Sammy 790 Posted February 15, 2018 Author Posted February 15, 2018 (edited) Plex shows this for the same library. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk Edited February 15, 2018 by Sammy
Sammy 790 Posted February 15, 2018 Author Posted February 15, 2018 (edited) Here's what my folder structure looks like for Season 11 by example. This is all automated by magical means BTW. It should show up correctly in the user interface.Still working on posting the server log. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk Edited February 15, 2018 by Sammy
mastrmind11 722 Posted February 15, 2018 Posted February 15, 2018 yeah that should work. curious to see the logs.
Sammy 790 Posted February 15, 2018 Author Posted February 15, 2018 yeah that should work. curious to see the logs. Yeah, mine has the S##E## reversed but this convention has worked and worked fine up to Season 9.. Other shows don't seem to be effected but I'm looking through my library right now.
Sammy 790 Posted February 15, 2018 Author Posted February 15, 2018 (edited) I looked at seasons before season 9 which are showing correctly in my library. They have the same file structure. Here's the log. Log.txt Edited February 15, 2018 by Sammy
Happy2Play 9782 Posted February 15, 2018 Posted February 15, 2018 What does the media info show for one that displays improperly? No log attached.
Sammy 790 Posted February 15, 2018 Author Posted February 15, 2018 I corrected the post to include the log. I'm not sure what you mean Happy2Play.
Happy2Play 9782 Posted February 16, 2018 Posted February 16, 2018 Can you post a screenshot of when you click on one of those problem episodes.
Sammy 790 Posted February 16, 2018 Author Posted February 16, 2018 (edited) Can you post a screenshot of when you click on one of those problem episodes. I did this on my phone with a scrolling screen capture, picking one at random. This screen is exactly the same as if I went to Season 7 Episode 22 as I looked. My other problem is that seasons 10 and 11 do not show in Emby even though they exist in my library as seen in my screen grabs of my folder structure and my library in Plex. Solution Happy2Play 9782 Posted February 16, 2018 Solution Posted February 16, 2018 (edited) So these is no season folder. I would suspect not properly idententied in that folder structure/naming. Unless it is just cut off that screenshot. Edited February 16, 2018 by Happy2Play 1
Sammy 790 Posted February 16, 2018 Author Posted February 16, 2018 Yes. That is it. I looked at the actual folder in explore and it is just like this for a whole lot of these files. Something is going wrong with my indexer and re-namer here but somehow Plex figured it out. I have some work to do here. UGH. Any good renamers these days? My copy of "therenamer" hasn't worked in a while now and it isn't supported. Otherwise I will need to delete these folders/files and start again. Thanks for looking into it. It would seem I should have looked more myself first before posting.
Happy2Play 9782 Posted February 16, 2018 Posted February 16, 2018 I don't think series\episode name folder\episode has ever been implemented, series\episode should work. I know it was brought up for series\season\ep folder\episode in another topic. @@Luke

Sammy 790 Posted February 16, 2018 Author Posted February 16, 2018 (edited) @"Luke" Sorry for doubting you on this. I just figured my library was correct. This looks to have happened when I was "fixing" some other things but I guess I broke something else in the process. Edited February 16, 2018 by Sammy
