emulate games in emby

How do I emulate the games I have in my library to play them online? I do not think the option inside the emby for this, I already installed the gamebrowser but it only lets configure the games folder and nothing else, there is no way to start an emulator for it, could anyone help me with this?

 

I'm currently testing snes games "super nitendo" but I can only see the game and nothing else.

Hi, not sure what you mean by playing them online. Maybe you can explain this.

 

However, for emulation setup, please first read through the great post by @@shaefurr https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/16380-gamebrowser-guide/&do=findComment&comment=161918

 

If you download a SNES emulator ZSNES or SNES9x you can install it in windows program folder (assuming you are on windows) and link to it as described in the guide above.

 

You also need to download Emby Theater and config it like the guide mentions.

 

I have to admit, because of issues with the Emby Theater, I have not been able to set it up myself. Instead I have used Kodi and Rom Collection Browser add-on to do the same. Used emby for kodi add-on to populate Kodi with media.

 

Give above a try and let us know if you have any issues.
