heula 192 Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 (edited) I use the dvblink plugin in Emby because I have DVBlink software with EPG data. Now I see that the data that is imported in the DVBlink software is different from the EPG data in Emby for some tv shows. Also after a guide update this is not updated. I have added my epg xml file as epg provider but than also after a data update the info is not same. Where does the epg data with the dvblink plugin come from? From the added xml tv provider or does the dvblink plugin get it from the dvblink software? HDHomerun Expand model HDHR3-4DC With the DVBlink software With Emby DVBlink plugin settings TVGids.xml Thanks. Edited February 12, 2018 by heula
Luke 42078 Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 When using the plugin all epg data comes from the plugin, and therefore, the service behind the plug-in.

So when I run a guide update the plugin get's the info from the DVBlink Service. Does it only add new items than or should it also look for the updated guide info? I thougt it should be one on one the same because it comes from the same source.
Luke 42078 Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 It updates everything when you run the guide.
heula 192 Posted February 12, 2018 Author Posted February 12, 2018 It updates everything when you run the guide. Than why is there a difference in both guides with the info for some shows? Can I reset the guide info and let the update run again?
Luke 42078 Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 To reset the guide, simply run a guide refresh. For the best experience possible, consider using our native HD Homerun support.

The discussion about native tuner support did we already have. It is working fine, I was just wondering why the guide data was different from the dvblink software.
