skank 85 Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 how come emby doesnt identify some movies(never had problems with this) i named my folder and moviefile like: Chappie (2015).4K.Atmos or Warcraft.4K.Atmos (2016) any reason why he cant find them?
ebr 16195 Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 Probably because those names don't follow our naming conventions. You can name the video files that way if they are in their own folder with a proper movie name (e.g. "Chappie (2015)")
Luke 42086 Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 @@skank please let us know if this helps. thanks !
skank 85 Posted February 13, 2018 Author Posted February 13, 2018 no doesnt help, it matches your naming conventions it needs the tag .3D and or .4K oir .Atmos for kodi flags.. can you tell me how i should name it then? it needs those tags
Kmark40 3 Posted February 13, 2018 Posted February 13, 2018 (edited) I've had no issues identifying 4k movies using, for example "Chappie (2015)" for the folder and files/versions inside that folder as "Chappie (2015)-2160p" or ”Chappie (2015)-1080p". I do have the coverart plugin which may be identifying files for me though. Edited February 13, 2018 by Kmark40
ebr 16195 Posted February 13, 2018 Posted February 13, 2018 no doesnt help, it matches your naming conventions Hi. Those folder names do not match our conventions. You can keep the files named that way (if they are in their own folders) and just change the folder names to match as Kmark40 did above.
