mbnwa 49 Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 I am currently talking the wife into migrating off WMC to Emby for our LiveTV needs, however with the olympics going on she has noticed a few things. I currently am recording every showing of the olympics so we can select the events we want to watch, we are not watching them while they are recording only after the recording is finished. We are not converting to friendly format in order to keep time shift during recording. Long story short, we start a showing of the olympics and the wife stops playback let’s say half way, she comes back at a later time and it says play and does not give a resume option. I have tested this from the web interface and I do see the resume option show up if I scrub to 1/2 way and stop the stream. Any ideas on why resume on recorded TV is not working? mbnwa 49 Posted February 12, 2018 Author Posted February 12, 2018 Update: this seems to be hit and miss, maybe something happened during the recording on a few of these as other ones seem to be working with resume. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
ebr 16182 Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 Are you 100% sure you didn't start watching it before it was complete? We know that resume points will not be saved in that instance. If it really was complete, then the only thing I can guess is that it hadn't been probed yet for a proper runtime.
Luke 42078 Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 Yet let's please look at an example in detail. Please attach the information requested in how to report a problem. thanks.
mbnwa 49 Posted February 12, 2018 Author Posted February 12, 2018 The wife already deleted that specific recording, I will keep an eye on it over the next few days (lots of Olympics recording) and if it shows up again I will post logs.
