awkimball 17 Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 (edited) Hi I am trying to play HEVC Main 10 HDR content on my Xbox One S with emby theater and it keeps transcoding due to "video resolution not supported" even though I have 4K and HDR on my TV. I replaced the original audio track with an AC3 track so that it would work on my xbox because TRUEHD didn't work. The error in the log says the profile requires a width of 1920 but that conflicts with the resolution of the video. Thanks for any help. PS I removed my home IP address from the logs and replaced it with MYHOMEIPADDRESS for safety. -A emby.log Edited February 12, 2018 by awkimball
Luke 42089 Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 It's resolved for the next release of the app, thanks. 1
awkimball 17 Posted February 12, 2018 Author Posted February 12, 2018 @@Luke Perfect thanks very much! Thanks for a quick response. 1.What ended up being the issue? 2. will it ever be possible to Play a HEVC/TRUEHD file by direct playing the HEVC video stream and transcoding or mkv swapping the audio to AC3? Thanks
Luke 42089 Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 It was incorrect resolution detection, and yes i would imagine so.
