azweig16 0 Posted February 11, 2018 Posted February 11, 2018 What's the deal here? I have the settings where the images downloaded, I verified in the content folder. I have restarted the server, still not working. Please advise.
mastrmind11 722 Posted February 11, 2018 Posted February 11, 2018 How about a bit more info... client(s), server version, etc, etc.
azweig16 0 Posted February 11, 2018 Author Posted February 11, 2018 Server version is up to date, main server is on Mac OS. Doesn't show on any of the clients, through firefox, roku. I assume this is what you mean by clients. I have set to download images automatically, not just when the server asks for it...even then when going into a movie, it does not pull down the images. Not sure what else you need.
feerlessleadr 173 Posted February 13, 2018 Posted February 13, 2018 read the sticky - the devs say specifically what they need to identify bugs: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/790-how-to-report-a-problem/
Luke 42085 Posted February 13, 2018 Posted February 13, 2018 Hi there, can we please go over a specific example? Thanks.
azweig16 0 Posted February 13, 2018 Author Posted February 13, 2018 Well it now seems to be working. I have just checked again, the artwork is still updated, so I think we are good at this point.
killerbotics 1 Posted February 13, 2018 Posted February 13, 2018 I'm experiencing a similar issue and think it has to do with needing just a tiny bit more time in the timeout for www.omdbapi.comI'm going to make a new topic on this but saw this here. This log failure works in a browser if you wait just a bit longer than emby waits.MediaBrowser.Model.Net.HttpException: Connection to https://www.omdbapi.com?apikey=<redacted>&i=tt0790686&plot=short&tomatoes=true&r=jsontimed out ---> System.Threading.Tasks.TaskCanceledException: A task was canceled. This task is right on the edge of timing out or working. Every failure in the log for a timeout for www.omdbapi.com works if I check in in a browser."Redacted the API key, didn't know if that was unique or secret"
Luke 42085 Posted February 13, 2018 Posted February 13, 2018 @@killerbotics that's not related because omdb is only a secondary metadata provider. 1
